I'm embarrassed to admit I don't have a family photo with my third son as of yet...bad mommy!...and he's already 16 months! Time flies when you're havin' fun shoppin'! Family photo day is on the calender!! Really!We live in Texas...not that y'all wouldn't figure that out with all my southern slang. ;)
I have owned an interior design business for over 11 years now, and have always enjoyed creating and making things beautiful since before I can remember. I love to shop, shop, shop for pieces that have a beautiful patina to them and I occasionally share the furniture I find with others...but only when my studio is busting at the seams. J/k.
I adore the look of vintage, time-worn and distressed pieces. The way they blend seamlessly with new items to create a one of a kind home, leaves me too excited to sleep some nights. Especially when I have a new truck-load of treasures just waiting to be brought to the Patina Soul studio.
Everything in my home and studio is something I love, has a purpose and a story...a Patina...a Soul...it speaks of how its been cared for and loved...thus the name of my business and blog... "Patina Soul".
